Anti-National Activities

The cyber cell of the ministry of home affairs has rolled out a new program. In this program, the citizens can register themselves as volunteers to flag and report to the government about the legal and unlawful contents. This content includes rape, child pornography, terrorism, and anti-national content or activities. This program is to be piloted initially in Jammu & Kashmir and Tripura on a trail. The responses and reporting frequency to this project will help to proceed with deciding if this can be calibrated further.

Under this project, the ministry of home affairs Indian cyber crime coordination center will act as a nodal point. The volunteers can participate by registering themselves with their respective states or union territories.

The volunteers should be able to produce the following information

● Name

However, these are not individually verified according to the document requesting registration from the volunteers.

The terms and conditions include strict confidentiality from both sides. Also, the nodal officer of that particular state has the right to take action against the ones that do not follow the terms and conditions.
